With all the craziness surrounding my release of Under Different Stars, I want to assure you all that I haven't forgotten about Iniquity. I also haven't forgotten that you are, first and foremost, a fan of the Premonition Series. I'm still working on Iniquity. It's kicking my butt, though. It's darker than the first four and it's not always easy for me to live in that world. I still plan to put it out in early 2014. I'd like to share a little snippet of the story with you. I hope you enjoy it. I want to hide beneath it, wrap myself in it like a blanket and rest.
“Maybe I’m a fighter because that’s what you’ve made me—lifetimes of fighting for you. Was that the price we paid for being together? Did we have to agree to mission after mission just to see each other?” It’s in his eyes. I’m right. I put both my hands to my face and cover my weary eyes for a moment. When I pull them away, I ask, “Did it get to be too much for me? Was the price too high to pay? Maybe I can’t remember us because I wanted it that way. Did I decide to cut my heart out rather than to have it die slowly?” I feel like sobbing. “No. You’d always fight for us,” Xavier replies without a hint of doubt. “The answer lies in Simone—in her memories.” “You want me to go back there! Back to Lille with Emil!” I begin to pace again, biting my thumbnail anxiously. “I want you to find out what happened,” Xavier says in an even tone. I point my finger at him. “No. You’re asking me to relive what happened!” “If it means defeating Emil in this lifetime then, yes, that’s what I’m asking. I need to know the debt owed to iniquity.” “The debt to iniquity—to wickedness?” I murmur aloud. “Emil’s power is a concession—that’s plain to me. I want to know why.”

Wow!!! I've been waiting for at least a little snippet to get my fix on this series until the next one comes out next year. I am now in the middle of the 4th book, which makes this the 3rd time that I have read the series. No other writer has compared to you. Your style of writing among many other things, leaves me unfulfilled in reading other books. They are just lacking and don't have the depth or connection to the characters like I feel in your series. I love rooting Evie & Reed on, laughing at Russell, being confused on how to feel with Brennus & wondering how Xavier is going to fit into all of this. PLEASE, PLEASE don't let this be the last of the series! This is too good & fans love it way to much for it to end so soon.

I don't even know. I love Xavier but Reed and Evie always. l love how Xavier is fighting for her but Reed has always been the one. I love how protective Tau is. I'm really hoping that everything works out with her dad and everyone. I keep honestly having mixed emotions.

I love this teaser and was glad it was about Xavier and Evie. I love his character and although I love Reed I am kind of rooting for Xavier. Thanks for the fix. I dont mind waiting since I know your not rushing it so it will be great! I actually hope this is not the last book.

Whoa, Nelly! I can't even begin to say how much I'm enjoying this series! At first, I was all Team Reed but now?? I'm torn between Xavier & Reed! Xavier adds another level to the complexity of Evie's lifetimes. <sigh> 2014 cannot get here fast enough!

All I have to say is Evie better end up with Reed with a happily ever after or I'm seriously going to punch someone in the face...kidding but seriously those two are my OTP and have been since the first book so all the other characters just get in the way in my mind...sigh...I like dark books so I know this'll be great!!!TEAM REED FOREVER

OMG! I cannot wait for iniquity! I'm doing everything I can to NOT freak out. I reread all of the other books in the Premonition series and Under Different Stars... I'm still losing it though...

Its early 2014! Can we just get an update with how long we have to wait, even if it is longer an update would put us all at ease! I feel like with everything going on with UDS you've forgotten about the fans of the Premonition series! Too much communication is better than none at all!
