Incendiary - The Destination Is The Journey

This is it. Incendiary is out now! You can get your eBook copies on Amazon (Kindle) and Smashwords (Nook, Kobo, Sony, and others). I'll post the links to the sites below. It will take a week (or so) to publish on Apple and maybe 2 weeks (or so) to show on B&N (again, you don't have to wait, you'll be able to download it right now on Smashwords). Of course, the paperback is available on Amazon as well.

Some of you knew that it released early on Amazon. I didn't post that here until now because I knew that the Epub version wasn't ready yet and I didn't want to spoil anything for the ones who couldn't get it right away. (Readers like to post their thoughts during and after they read my stories so that I know what they thought of it. Those posts usually contain spoilers so that's why I didn't post it here.) I love your feedback and now you can feel free to tell me everything you're thinking! <--Well, maybe not EVERYTHING!!

I will miss this post and you. It has been an amazing and infuriating and elating and frustrating journey. You held my hand through it. I'm grateful for that and for you. We'll have other, new journeys together, I promise, but this one is special to me. Thank you. (Yes, I'm crying. Yes, I'm a wuss.) I heard this song and I thought it was sort of perfect. It's FOLLOW THE SUN by EVERMORE. It helped me remember that the journey is the destination. I hope you enjoy the journey.

I'm shooting for summer of 2013! I'll try for sooner, though. I'm going to publish it differently with Iniquity. I'm going to publish the eBook first and them tackle the print book, so it should cut publishing time in half. So I could be done in Spring of 2013. I'll have to see.

Yes please write fast! Counting down to spring (fingers crossed)/summer 2013! And yay for ebook first! My heart just breaks for Xavier but Evie has Reed now... Please don't tear Evie and Reed apart! I thought Evie would have the final say on whom she chooses, so what would be the point of Xavier challenging Reed? Can they just renew their binding vows now that Evie's not under duress? And isn't their binding already accepted by god so who else has the right to say that it's not legit? But do find someone for Xavier like Russell! I can't believe Brennus became even more powerful! What are the angels gonna do now that his magic works on them? He has to die!!! It sucks that Evie's heart is now torn 4 ways between her aspire/guardian angel/soul mate/demon. But this is what's called a Halle Berry problem - having too many hot guys fighting over you - I'd sympathize if I could relate, but unfortunately I really can't... I agree that someone should sign Tau up for some parenting classes... Can't wait to see how this series concludes (happy ending please)! Please don't put Evie and Reed through too many more trials; they have been through enough! What has been shall be again!

Cannot stop re-reading the books! Can Reed feel and use magic now? It seemed like he could sense it when Russell was healing Evie at the end. It'll only be fair that he gets an upgrade as well after being singed!
Can't wait to see what your plans within plans are! Was it Armageddon Evie was dreaming about? Will it be Judgement Day? I kind of like the idea of redemption for all. And ok Brennus can be allowed to live if he turns good but not otherwise!
It's intriguing how Evie's mission keeps evolving! Xavier (and Tau) has to accept this and should take his own advice that if his lover were pure, he'd be happy for Evie that she's with Reed. She's no longer only human and the angel part of her chooses Reed over him just like she did over Russell. I do have a thing for eyes though, especially heterochromic ones...
And I hope Evie does outrank Tau since she has a soul! I hope they'll reconcile as well because Evie will need all the help she can get with the war of wars breaking out! He has to stop treating her like a mere military subordinate for him to control though. And that was some plan moving into Brennus' castle! That's what got them into that whole mess at the end! Some strategist Tau is...

Ok I'm really depressed I devoured this so fast. I tried really hard to make it last but it was impossible to put down. It was amazing. Hope we don't have to wait too long for Iniquity. Gonna keep re-reading the series until then! Great job Amy!

I pulled an all-nighter last night because I could not put Incendiary down. I just finished reading it about ten minutes ago, and my mind is still caught somewhere between reality and Crestwood with Evie and her family. I love what you are doing with the story and I am already holding my breath for Iniquity! I know that we, your fans, are a demanding lot, but PLEASE write quickly!

Just finished!! Wow! Fan-freaking-tastic. Loved everyone-old and new. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you for how you handled Brennus(I don't want to spoil anything for anyone so I hope I'm not saying too much). I know he does not have a lot of fans but I always felt that maybe Evie could save him(make him a good faerie) and he could go home. I thought he was almost there......maybe in the next book;) Although I will miss some of the old fellas like Declan. They were funny. It was a great escape. Now it's back to reality for me. Congratulations! It was worth the wait. Looking forward to the next and you have a fan for life.

I was chomping at the bit for Incendiary. And I was crushed that I went through it so darned fast. It's rare for me to pick up a YA series because I find the genre pretty unimpressive on the whole, but the Premonition Series has me captivated. It's an original story, with a lead that I can respect and don't want to beat to death with a damp towel. And the men....good lord. Saying I am looking forward/counting down the minutes/stalking the blog for information on the next book is an understatement of the most epic proportions.

So you know, I loved Incendiary, and wow, Brenn....and holy cow Xavier. My head snaps in many directions when I read and reread the Premonition series because you keep it original and fresh. You're awesome with your narrative voice and plot rollercoastering, a writer worth respecting and anticipating, compliments I don't hand out often or make lightly because I'm a pretty harsh critic. So, write away, I'll wait. It's nice to finally see some YA fiction worth waiting for and thank you for sharing it. Do your happy dancing, annoy the neighbors with loud music, embrace the success you deserve because You Rock. (just make sure you keep writing in between the dancing, annoying, and embracing.)

Wow! I'd just like to say wow! That's what your books do to me! I love your writing style, the way you have several climaxes and don't stick with the regular build up that plagues the YA genre is very refreshing and an absolute joy to read. I love all the character's, but I always have a soft spot for the underdog so I'm completely in love with Xavier. Though I adore Reed he does seem to have all the advantages! Thank you so much for this book, which I loved so much that I bought it in paperback rather than wait for the e-book, and thank you for the series in general. Safe to say I absolutely adore you Amy!

Hi Amy, I absolutely loved Incendiary! I am really hoping Evie follows through on her thoughts for some kind of Ganganagh cure....that would be AMAZING. I really do hope Brennus gets a good ending, maybe that ending isn't with Evie, but a good one nevertheless. Also I've got to ask, is there maybe a chance of an adult series in the future? If so how long?

Oh my goodness! LOVED it! Although I do have to ask nicely that there will be no more surprise lovers in the future, haha dealing with Russell, and Brennus AND Reed was enough and then Xavier comes in I was pretty shocked about that I must say.

Also, I was a bit worried that I would not find the novel as interesting as the first three, seeing as I read all 3 at one time over the summer, since this has happened in 2 other series which I had been reading. I am very pleased to report that this is not the case, I was drawn right back into Evie and Reed's life and the book was excellent!

I loved the twist at the ending and I have to say that the scene where Evie and Reed recite the Shakespeare quote to eachother was absolutely beautiful. Loved, Loved, Loved it!

So excited for #5!! Didn't know there would be a 5th so I am very happy that this story will continue on! Thank you for writing such beautiful and exciting stories! :)

Totally sad that i cant read it until its released on Apple. Have been dying to read the fourth instalment and i cant wait until i can!!! I read the first 3 in the span of a week, i couldn't put my phone down(ibook). This series is truly amazing! Checking everyday until it shows up on the ibook store so i can buy it and read it. I was like an addict, just letting myself read a little of Incendiary each night, but now I'm done and already having withdrawl. Cannot wait for Iniquity, pant pant. This is the first series that I have read that does not get boring. Each new character you bring in makes it all the more exciting. Cudos to you, you are am amazing writer.

Premonition series was an incredible surprise! Never hesitate to put your ideas on a new book or a new series… My friends and I will sure read all the books you decide to share with us!

First I would like to say that Incendiary was wonderful and i enjoyed it very much.
That being said, I want you to know that I both love and hate you almost equally now.
The christmas present is unwrapped and used and now I am left empy and hungry for more.
What a terrible fate to be left to.
I feel Brennus' pain that he is always complaining about when he can't get to Evie.
A spoiled brat, "can't have what I want now," kind of pain.
No pressure I am just dying.
Anyway, Thanks for a great read.

My dearest Amy,

I finished reading Incendiary a couple days ago and I got to say, it was quite a roller coaster you had me going through. But I loved every second of it. It took me a little while to read just because I was busy but needless to say, every time I started it was extremely hard to put down. I love that your books are so incredibly unpredictable. Chapter 21. Man. That one really had me going. I thought it was some kind of dream sequence at first and had to re-read to make sure it wasn’t! I’m beyond sad that Iniquity will be the conclusion to this series but all good things must end sometime, right? I am positive that you won’t let anyone down and will continue to surprise all your readers. I’m hoping Xavier ends up happy because I really fell in love with his character and the fact that he and Evie had history. It’s kind of hard not to fall in love with all your characters because you make each and every one of them extremely special. I think it would be interesting to get a separate book about Evie’s past lives with both Russell and Xavier. I am patiently waiting for your last installment and in the meantime will re-read Incendiary (:

Amy! Seriously u rock!! Incendiary was well worth the wait! I went through so many emotions reading this book. I was feeling jealous and a little betrayed when Russell started having feelings for Anya (although I ended up liking her). I've always been Team Reed, but those feelings made me re-consider Russell!!! But then, you tore my heart out when Reed was captured by Brennus...I was so scared to read on...but that didn't last long!!! By the end, I even had a little place in my heart for Brennus...how did you do that??? Xavier really threw me for a loop...was a passionate, sexy, bad*** he's going to be. I can't wait for you to explore his character more!!!! He had me at hello :D I think we need several more books to fully explain everything...wink! wink!!! This is just the best series ever!! I really like Between the Raindrops by Lifehouse feat. Natasha Bedingfield for Evie and Reed at the end of Incendiary. Thanks again for your amazing writing!!!!! P.S. Buns and Brownie were cracking me up with all their themed parties ;)

Amy, I have actually never loved a series so much! It kept making me squeal and want to throw my kindle! Am absolutely desperate to get the fifth since I read Incendiary in pretty much a day, and so can't wait to find out more about Xavier and Anya and Tau (though I thought he deserved a massive slap and was rooting for Evie punishing him). Can't wait for Brennus to die though I love their accents and the way they are written so he'd better die well... I completely Team Reed, though a little bit of Team Xavier is coming through too - my fave must be Russell though!
Can't wait, hope it's out soon! Any film plans because it would be amazing!?

Amy, Seriously you have me hooked. The first book I liked so I thought I would read more and after the second I could not put them down. Anyway I have a question it may sound silly and it may not have been addressed yet and will come with the new book but here goes:
You mention in the books that Evie and Russell are old souls (to me I assume this is a human term) I am a bit confused by their past - Have they always been human in Paradise and get dispatched to earth for missions as humans with guardian angels? or are you saying they are sent on missions as humans but in paradise they have always been angels? For Russell to have an Aspire that is an Angel and Evie to have Xavier (an Angel) it just seems that they would have been angels and sent on missions as humans. Also it mentions that Anya's brand changes does this mean she was human and turned angel, later in the book it comes across that she has always been an angels as she was born of fire with Xavier? Can an Angel have an Aspire that is human when angels can not choose to be with a human.
So Confused but I am probably over thinking things, but it has been bothering me.
