Stay Hungry, Stay Foolish
Most of the world is probably aware by now that Steve Jobs, CEO of Apple, died yesterday at the age of 56. He was human and he made mistakes in his life, but he also discovered some universal truths along the way. Instead of paraphrasing them for you, I will just let you listen to some of the lessons he discovered throughout his life. The following is a commencement speech Steve Jobs gave at Stanford University
Katherine Hepburn said: Life is hard. After all, it kills you. Don’t be afraid to be foolish along the way. Write a book that no one expects that you’re capable of, paint a picture, write some code, dance the tango, design your own clothes, in short, do something that you love. It is a risk, but if you are doing what you love then you have already won.
